Our Philosophy:

At Brunswick Crèche and Day Nursery, we recognise the significance of the early years, particularly the first 1000 days, as foundational for lifelong learning and development. We acknowledge that families entrust us with their children during times of personal transition—whether becoming new parents or returning to work—and we are committed to providing a safe, responsive, and high-quality educational setting.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live, learn, and play. We respect their ongoing cultural and spiritual connection to this land and are committed to embedding Aboriginal perspectives in our daily practices and learning environments.

We are proud to be a multicultural centre, with a diverse team of educators from a range of cultural backgrounds working together in respectful and collaborative ways. This diversity enriches our practice and supports an inclusive environment where all children and families feel a sense of belonging.

As children transition through our Tiny Tots, Mini Minors, and Top Kids rooms, we understand that developmental, behavioural, and parenting challenges may arise. Our role is to support families with empathy, evidence-based knowledge, and referrals to relevant community services where needed.

We believe strong, respectful relationships are at the heart of early childhood education. We work in partnership with families to ensure every child feels seen, heard, and valued. We view play as essential to children’s learning and design our curriculum around play-based experiences that foster exploration, identity, and agency.

Our educators provide responsive, reflective, and intentional teaching within nurturing environments. We are dedicated to ongoing professional growth and continuous improvement to support positive outcomes for all children.
